School Groups - Primary & Secondary

• Pupils are taught FREE, during their P.E. lesson
• Primary School - Grades 1 to 6 (composite groups welcomed)
• Secondary School - Year 7 and Year 8
• 3-5 week program, tailored to suit the school
• 45 minute sessions (approx)
• No Cost to school except transportation
• No restriction on numbers - whether it be 10 students or 100
• After School Dance classes provided FREE to students at end of program, to assist them with dances instructed
• Male & female students together from one or more school classes (composite groups)
• Elective groups for Dance in years 7, 8 & 9 instructed at a nominal amount per 45 minute session.
• Studio for hire to schools for VCE Dance etc. at $40.00 per hour + GST or part thereof. Full use of music, mirrors and venue etc. subject to availability

Kinder Groups

Why not bring your Kindergarten Group to a MarShere Dance Studio for a fantastic time of dance with Parents & Teachers?

MarShere Dance Studios is for the entire family and it's never too young to start! Our kinder dance program is for kindergarten groups during the day, to use our studios as "parent & child" excursion outings.

The attractive part of our kinder dance is that it is offered to playgroups & kindergartens at a reduced price. No hidden costs, contracts, or term fees! This is a community service we offer with pride.

Allow your toddler to learn such dances as Cha Cha Slide, Zorba, Madison, Progressive Jive and Party like the Hokey Pokey & Bird Dance! Share a special "moment of dance" with your child at a MarShere Kinder Dance Program. Your kids will learn the early stages of movement that will assist them in their development in a fun and friendly environment!

Kinder Groups - 10+ Children:

• 45 minute sessions
• $8.00 per child

Night of Stars

A unique and modern evening where the focus is on you!

We specialise in making ALL ages feel special on a night such as this. Many of the studios combine the 3 age groups for the Night of Stars together on the one night, so that the entire family can share!

There are 3 age categories that are involved in the Night of Stars:

Sophisticated Ladies
This is for those who would like to do their Deb again, or even for the first time. Ladies are partnered by mature aged males - age not applicable and no dancing skills required! Ladies wear a full length evening gown, that is mainly BLACK, with a touch of either silver or gold if desired and black shoes. Long black gloves complete the outfit for an elegant look.

Young Ladies - Rainbow
This is for young ladies to "star" for a night, in a very extravagant presentation. Young ladies wear a full length evening gown, but the highlight is that each individual lady selects the colour of their choice, one that reflects the individual, without being restricted to white, and certainly a dress that can be used again! Long matching gloves and accessories complete the outfit for a co-ordinated look.

Knights & Princesses
This is a very special night for the primary school age kids. Little girls are in white (suggested a confirmation dress), while the little boys are in shirt and tie. Attire will vary from group to group depending on the needs of the parties involved.
